Yalova University Deputy Secretary General Ercan Gündoğdu, together with our department’s faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Simel Parlak Erçelik, Assist. Prof. Dr. Berfin Töre, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Neslihan Balcı, met with Sümeyye Yanık DOĞAN, Deputy Director of the Yalova Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and the Psychosocial Support Team.
During the meeting, the current status of psychosocial support services carried out in the aftermath of potential natural disasters in Yalova was evaluated, and improvement proposals aimed at making these processes more effective and sustainable were discussed.
