On May 18, 2026, poster presentations titled "Accident Analysis Studies," prepared by students as part of the PSİ 364 Traffic Psychology course conducted within the Psychology Department of Yalova University, were held. As part of the course, students examined real traffic accidents from a traffic psychology perspective, evaluating numerous variables such as human factors, attention processes, risk perception, and environmental factors within a scientific framework.
In their poster presentations, students analyzed the processes leading to accidents through selected case examples, sharing possible prevention strategies and suggestions for safe driving. Discussions on traffic safety and behavioral change during the presentations were particularly noteworthy.
The event contributed to reinforcing students' theoretical knowledge through practical work, while also enabling them to develop their scientific research, data interpretation, and academic presentation skills. The poster presentations, which were followed with great interest by the participants, once again highlighted the importance of traffic psychology for traffic safety and public health.
