The 6th National Psychology Graduate Students Congress was held on June 7-9, 2024, hosted by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in cooperation with the Turkish Psychologists Association. During this symposium, a wide range of panels, oral presentations, and poster sessions were conducted over three days.
Our department faculty members participated in the congress as follows:

Assoc. Prof. Sinem Baltacı spoke in the panel titled “What, Why, and How Do We Become Addicted? The Issue of Addiction from a Lacanian Psychoanalytic Perspective.”

Res. Asst. Ezginur Çelik presented the oral paper “Adaptation of the Obsessive Beliefs Scale – Eating Disorders Version (OBS-EDV) into Turkish and Examination of Its Psychometric Properties.”

Res. Asst. Emine Uysal presented the oral paper “What Could Be the Determinants of Parental Identity?”
Following the presentations, productive discussions took place with questions and comments from participants. The symposium provided an opportunity to meet valuable researchers in the field, network, and exchange ideas for future research.
