The 10th Işık Savaşır Clinical Psychology Symposium was hosted by Dokuz Eylül University on June 2–3, 2023. Over two days, the symposium featured panels, oral presentations, and poster sessions on a wide range of topics.
Our department instructors participated with the following presentations: Asst. Prof. Sinem Baltacı delivered an oral presentation titled “This Is a Disease and a Disease Is Not a Sin: Discursive Constructions of Diagnosis Among Individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder”, and Research Assistant Ezginur Çelik presented “After the Pandemic: Psychological States of Students During the Return to Universities”. Following the presentations, productive discussions took place through participants’ questions and comments.
This symposium provided an opportunity to meet and network with valuable researchers in the field and exchange ideas for future studies.
