As part of a Psychodevelopment and Awareness Club activity, a visit to the Animal Care and Rehabilitation Center was organized with 40 participants. The aim of this event was to observe the living conditions of animals in Yalova and provide short-term assistance. During the visit, Yalova Mayor Mr. Mustafa Tutuk informed participants about activities organized for stray animals along the central coastline of Yalova. Participants also distributed food to the animals.
Following this, a visit to the Engelsiz Kafe took place. During this visit, the club’s purpose, vision, and mission were presented to Mayor Mustafa Tutuk, and the students conveyed their requests on behalf of Yalova University. After this brief discussion, participants were transported to the Yalova Stray Animals Rehabilitation Center. At the center, a veterinarian provided information about the animals and answered participants’ questions. At the end of the visit, participants distributed food to the animals again.
This event was highly appreciated by participants, including Mayor Mustafa Tutuk.
