In collaboration with the Yalova University Psychology Department and the Psychology Club, a seminar on schizophrenia was held at the Mehmet Okul Congress Center. The seminar, titled “A Different Perspective on Schizophrenia Treatment: Polyamines”, was presented by one of Turkey’s leading neuropsychopharmacology experts, Prof. İ. Tayfun Uzbay, and attracted great interest from our university students.
Prof. İ. Tayfun Uzbay, who has received numerous national and international awards for his work—including the Roche Medical Research Award and the Science Awards from the Academy of Pharmacy—was presented with a Donation Certificate from the Darüşşafaka Society and a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of his participation in the program.
