The Social Media and Communication Panel was organized in collaboration between the YÜ Psychology Department and the New Media and Communication Department. During the panel, topics discussed included the prevalence of social media use worldwide and in Turkey, the points at which social media use becomes dysfunctional, the reasons for excessive social media use, and its impact on functionality and interpersonal relationships. The panel concluded with a Q&A session where participants’ questions were answered.
