As part of initiatives to enhance the well-being and mental health of university students, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Psychology Department and the Medico-Social Center at Yalova University organized a talk titled “Take Care of Myself!” featuring Dr. Sinem Baltacı, Vice Dean of the Faculty and faculty member of the Psychology Department, as the speaker.
The talk was held at the 15 July Conference Hall on the Central Campus of Yalova University and attended by Prof. Dr. Vefik Arıca, Vice Rector of Yalova University and Founding Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Hasan Kaplan, Head of the Psychology Department; Dr. Metin Sabuncu, Medico-Social Center physician; Çiğdem Karahan, Medico-Social Center psychologist; Umut Berkay Polat, Student Council President; Semra Baykır, Deputy Director of the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism; Makbule Yıldız Özcan, Deputy Director of the Yalova Provincial Health Directorate; and Raziye Kurt, Unit Supervisor.
Following the seminar, participants visited the booths set up in front of the Central Campus Cafeteria by Green Crescent, the Provincial Health Directorate, the Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the Psychology Club, and the Music Club, exploring various activities.
