An interactive talk was held by our faculty member, Asst. Prof. Zehra Ertuğrul-Yaşar, as part of the "Türkiye Family Year Talks," in which the experiences of foster families were shared. The discussion highlighted the importance and impact of family in child development. Attention was drawn to how a family environment influences a child’s secure attachment, healthy identity development, and overall well-being. It was emphasized that being a foster family not only positively shapes the life of a child but also contributes to the future of society. At the end of the talk, participants’ questions were answered, and a flower presentation was made.
